Meet Dr. Emelie Astrom, a dentist from Sweden with a smile that shines brightly and brings warmth to those around her. Emelie shows true compassion and empathy towards others. This was evident when she volunteered at MDC in 2019 and 2020 bringing her talents and kindness to bear in helping so many people on the Mara.
She has a passion and special gift for treating children and is now specializing in Pediatric Dentistry.
Emelie is a gal of many talents, she also wrote a fun and educational children’s oral health book that she shared with the Maasai children!
